MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAMS

GCMS program is designed to meet the unique developmental needs of
adolescents. We serve as a bridge between elementary school and high school.
Our Team concept involves a group of teachers (language arts, mathematics,
social studies, and science) teaching the same group of students every day. A
Team Consultant also works with the teams. Class size will be approximately
30 students in core academic courses. The composition of teams includes all
ability levels.

In addition to the core academic classes, students may choose (depending on
grade level) from the following electives: Japanese, Spanish, Band, Chorus,
Core Exploratory classes, Art, Publications, Computer Technology, Technology
Laboratory, Teen Living, Healthy Choices, Safety Education, Life Management
and Physical Education.
