*a large box of tissues (for runny noses)
*small bottle of hand sanitizer (for clean hands)
*an old, clean sock (for erasing dry-erase boards)
*6 + pencils (for writing great stories)
*a large pink eraser (for getting rid of mistakes)
*a small hand-held pencil sharpener with a lid (for writing more 
great stories)
*2+ blue or black pen (for checking math problems)
*a glue stick (for creative work)
*scissors (for creative work)
*an inexpensive calculator (for figuring grades)
*washable markers (for creative work)
*colored pencils (for creative work)

None of these supplies is necessary since they will be available in 
the classroom, but the materials in class are limited and will be 
shared with your teammates.  The Specials teachers may require a 
paint shirt for art and extra gym shoes for gym.  It would be a good 
idea to bring a sturdy backpack to haul homework, books, lunches, 
snacks, and other items back-and-forth between school and home.  
Make sure the backpack is not larger than 6 ½ X 11 ½ inches since 
our lockers are that size.  Be sure to put your name on the things 
you bring, if possible.
