| Your child and you are now part of a special and unique team. Since I
strongly believe that the success of children in school is dependent on the
parent/teacher communication I will do everything in my power to keep you
informed of the happenings in our classroom. I will do this by:
1. Sending home a weekly newsletter in the Monday Folder.
2. Sending home the agenda (planner) your child has filled out each day
listing what we did in each subject and any homework your child may have
that night.
3. Writing notes to you in the agenda that pertain to missing
assignments or behavior issues of the day.
4. Sending home a “Welcome” packet explaining team rights, penalties,
rewards, procedures of the classroom and how grading is done in 4th grade.
On the last page of the packet is the opportunity for you to sign up for
volunteer jobs in our classroom.
5. Updating our class website weekly.
Also, if you ever feel the need to contact me, you may write a note in the
agenda (planner)or call me at school to leave a message (488-5060). And
