This is my fourth year teaching first grade in Gull Lake Community
Schools. My first two years of teaching I taught at Bedford Elementary,
last year I taught at Kellogg Elementary. I am delighted to be here at
Richland this year! I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education
from Western Michigan University with minors in science, social studies and
early childhood education. I am currently working toward my masters
degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Elementary Reading
and Literacy. I live in Cooper Township with my husband and
three children Jacob (10), Sam (7) and Ryan (2).
To create a warm, nurturing environment where all children feel welcome and
valued. To provide a quality education to meet the varied intellectual,
cultural, physical, social and emotional needs of each child so that he/she
may become independent, responsible and productive.
