I am in my 13th year teaching 5th grade. I love science and math and
enjoy teaching science to all of the students in our group. I have two
children, Jacob is 11, and Alaina is 8. My husband, Brian, is a residential
home builder and is the assistant fire chief for Cooper Township.
I grew up in Richland and attended Gull Lake Community Schools
graduating in 1989. I received my bachlor's degree from Western Michigan
University in 1995 and finished my master's degree in 2002.
As a family we enjoy traveling, boating around the great lakes and many
inland Michigan lakes. We love to watch our children participate in sports
and other activities.
