Do I need to sign my child's assignment book every day?
YES!!! The assignment book will keep you updated on what work the studentsare doing. I also use the assignment book as a communication tool, so often Iwill write notes in it. Missing Assignment notices are also stapled in theassignment book on a daily basis.Back to Top

Part of our responsibility as 5th grade teachers is to prepare your child forthe transition from elementary school to junior high. We do that by steppingup our expectations in responsibility, organization, time management, andstudent accountability. When will my child bring home graded papers?
Graded papers come home every Friday. There is no Friday Folder in 5th grade,just expect completed work (class work and homework) to come home Friday.Back to Top
