What is the best way to get a hold of Mrs. Naasko?

You can email me at anytime. My email address is naaskob@lakeviewschools.net.
I check my email both before and after school. You may also phone the school
and leave a message on my voice mail. My phone number is 989-352-7221 ext.
2108. If your call is an emergency please phone the school and talk with the
secretary.

Today my child is going home a way other than their usual way. What should I do?

Please send a note or call if your child is to go home a way other than their
usual way (i.e.. a bus rider getting picked up, or riding a different bus than
normal). This way I can help your child remember what to do. A child can NOT
ride a different bus or get picked up by a different adult than usual without
a note or phone call. *New this year: You must send a note or phone the
school before 12:00 p.m. for a bus change to take place.

Can I volunteer in my child's classroom?

Yes, volunteers are welcome starting in October. All volunteers must undergo
a background check before volunteering. This also includes parents going on
field trips.

What is the best way to get updated website information?

You should go to the newsflash page and subscribe for updates. There is a
link on the bottom of the newsflash page. Once you have signed up as a
subscriber you will get an email informing you when new information has been
uploaded.

What do I do when my child is sick?

When your child is sick, you can call the office. It is best for us to be
informed by 9:00 a.m. In second grade much of the work cannot be made up
outside of class but your child may have make-up work to complete upon their
arrival back to class. If they need to be gone for more than a couple days I
would be glad to put some work together but I would like at least 24 hours notice.
