This is my 13th year of teaching. I have twin daughters (Natalie
and Isabel) who are in the 4th grade. We spend our Saturday's at Soccer and
Volleyball games! We have a dog named Jaxson that we rescued last summer from
the Michigan Humane Society. He is one year old and a little crazy!
Math is my passion and my favorite teacher was my high school calculus
teacher who was generally pretty mean, but boy I just loved him! He inspired
me to do well so I try to do the same for all of my students.
I love to read a good book and this summer I read some great ones: The Giver,
Wringer, Edward's Eyes, For One More Day and Night Road.
I believe that family is the most important thing and so I hope that you
enjoy the section of our math program called "Home Connection". It is meant
to help you and your child connect with activities that continue from our
day's lesson.
My mission for all of my math students is to make sure that it is fun! I
know the misconceptions that go along with math, but I hope to change that
feeling this year. YOU CAN DO IT!!!
