"THIS PLACE IS A BALL" -Tommy

“Mr. Kaplan, I think the highlight of David's day yesterday was getting a high-five from two football players.  David (who is in kindergarten) has always been nervous around "big kids".   David doesn't know the players names but he said that they asked his name.  This gesture touched my heart.  I hope you are equally impressed.”

Regards,

 Lisé Dickson

“Mr. Kaplan, It was great to see you at the trike-a-thon yesterday, it's so nice the children are learning about giving back and awareness of their community with that fundraiser.” -Mrs. Pilcher

“I am glad to be graduating with an awesome 8th grade class. Ever since I started going here, it made me wonder how different my life would be if I went here when I was younger. One decision can have a big effect on your life.” -Savannah 8th grader

“I send my children here because Catholics know how to do education.” –Mrs. Ochs

“Mommy we’re going to eat good for the whole month.” –words from a child waiting in line for food from our mobile food pantry

RJ, I have to say I have never seen anything like it, and I was so very, very proud of my parish family, that words are just inadequate. I don't know when I've ever been more proud to be a part of something, as I was yesterday. So to you, the teachers, the parents, and especially all the children, thank you for being so awesome, thank you for your gifts, thank you for your love and support. Truly, you are never too young to serve those in need, as you have shown us all.

-Barb Lewis after receiving the pillows for breast cancer patients

Love one another as I have loved you” –Jesus

“Mr. Kaplan, Congratulations on having such a nice article written about you in Sunday's church bulletin.  It is well-deserved.  You have an incredibly difficult job, and you do it very well.” –Lise Dickson

“I love to see these beautiful smiles in the morning on the children’s faces.” Mrs. Goza

“I would like to thank all of the volleyball players; especially those on the Orange team for a Great season.  The Orange team went 26 and 7. I am very proud of all their growth and effort this year.  They are a wonderful bunch of young ladies and it has been my pleasure to have coached them these last two seasons.” -Coach, Kelly B.

“Mr. Kaplan, I enjoy doing stories with you and your staff. The grandparent Mass was beautiful. I started to cry when I was thinking about my grandparents. My grandfather died 2 years after I was born and my grandmother died when I was six. So they have been gone for a long time. I think about them often.” -Dan McAvoy Catholic Times Newspaper

“R.J., We’ve already signed up for Pius, Powers and U of M! Tuition has become a part of our lives that we view as a necessity.  We see our boys "growing" every day and that is our validation that we have made the right choice. When finances are tight, tuition is never put on the table... we focus on the things we can do without, not the things we can't live without. Thanks for your inspiration. Families like to see that you understand and feel the pain too.”                 - Cathy Van Camp

"I really liked Adoration because it was peaceful.  Adoration brought me closer to Christ.

 –Gillian 8th grade.

“I was able to join the students here at St. Pius for Eucharistic Adoration. It was wonderful to see the classes come into the church so reverently and quietly to spend time with our Lord. I was grateful for this time of being in the true Presence of Jesus, to Praise, Adore and give Him Thanks. What a 'Gift' Mr. Kaplan and Father Robert gave to the children, parents, and staff that day. Thank You!"                              -Kathy Brcic
