St. Pius X Catholic School

 

 

The childcare center offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Children here are nurtured and loved while in our care. The center is beautiful inside and children have the opportunity to work on homework, have their own quiet time and play with many of their friends. Our childcare center is State licensed and directed by trained caretakers in Early Childhood Education. While in our care, children are offered numerous activities such as; arts and crafts, band practice, games, outdoor play and sports, coloring, writing, and other motor skills. Our center opens at 6:00A.M. and closes at 6:00 P.M. There is a registration fee of $15.00 and the cost is $4 an hour and the second child costs $3.50 an hour. Call the school office with any questions.

During extended care, students enjoy a fun time playing football. They really loved their free jean day more!!!

While the big kids are off at homework club, Mr.Tyner reads to the little ones before beginning their craft.


Mr. Kaplan the (Principal) gets to carve pumpkins with the little ones as they learn about seed growth!











Parents absolutely love homework club, where kids do homework before they get home! There is nothing more beautiful than you having more time with your family and Mrs. Hatton helps make that happen.

The whole gang of little ones carve pumpkins in our after school extended care. This is not simply babysitting. Your kids are learning and growing more and more after school everyday!

 

 

 At St. Pius X we have our older children help be positive role models by being readers to the younger children. This is a program where we teach the whole child!

All of these wonderful opportunities are here for your child at St. Pius X's extended care program. We are blessed to have Carrie Hatfield, a Powers High School graduate, who has brought a beautiful change and growth to our school.
