The Alexa Rose Woodfield Memorial Scholarship
The Alexa Rose Woodfield Memorial Scholarship has been established in memory of Alexa Rose Woodfield, a graduate of St. Pius X Catholic School, by the Woodfield Family. A $750 scholarship is available for a St. Pius X Catholic School graduate who will be attending Powers Catholic High School as a ninth grader. Click for more info: LMP-and-Woodfield-Scholarships.pdf
Diocesan Scholarship Program: I am pleased to inform you that the Diocesan Scholarship program will continue for the 2013-14 school year and will, once again, be ad-ministered by the Greater Lansing Catholic Education Foundation. The program has been expanded to include more grades this year. Here is what you need to know:Catholic students entering grades 6 - 10 in August/September 2013 at any Diocese of Lansing Catholic School are eligible to apply. Scholarships for middle school students (6th through 8th grades) are $750. Scholarships for high school students (9th -10th grades) are $1,000. Applications are due (postmarked) by March 18, 2013. The application will be available on the website www.glcef.org and also as a PDF here: Diocesan-Tuition-Assistance-Application-2013-2014.pdf where they can be printed for families. Applications will be evaluated for financial need by Private School Aid Service - the same process as last year. The application fee is $24. We urge any family with students entering 6th through 10th grades next year to apply through the Foundation for this fantastic tuition assistance opportunity!
