Mrs. Hinks:
I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science
Degree in 1993. My education major was Mathematics and my minor was Early
Childhood. I was hired to teach Kindergarten in the fall of 1993. I then
taught at both Savage and Elwell Elementary schools. In 1998, I returned
to E.M.U., and I completed my Master's Degree in Early Childhood
Education, specializing in children from birth to age 8. I hope to never
teach in any grade over second.
In 1999, I transferred to Tyler Elementary. The 2011-12 school year will
be my 19th year of teaching Kindergarten!
In the summer of 2002, I was married to Mr. Hinks. We now have 2 sons.
Mrs. Rushlow was our awesome classroom aide. Last year,full-time
classroom aides were eliminated. We are currently seeking parent volunteers.
