Overview

Advisory Class is the fourth class of the morning. It is a shortened class that allows time for announcements, planner updates, and general "housekeeping". After the announcements we work on Accelerated Reading (AR). Students are expected to meet their AR goals by reading during Advisory and at home. Computers are available in Advisory for students to take AR reading quizzes.

AR Goals:

1st Card Marking - 15 points

2nd Card Marking - 20 points

3rd Card Marking - 25 points

4th Card Marking - 30 points

Meeting AR goals directly effects the student's Reading grade. Any student who meets their AR goal will be invited to a team luncheon with Mr. Edwards, Mrs. Koelzer, & Ms. Quinn.
