I am a graduate from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Special Education with an
endorsement in Autism.
This will be my 3rd year teaching 5th Grade. I have moved to a new room. My
class will now be located in room #29.
I have been married for 29 years and have two grown children both in
college. My husband's name is Joe and he is a Captain for the
Frenchtown Fire Department in Monroe County. He works very hard at his
job.
My son's name is Robert. He is 27 years old and going to Nursing
School and working full time for the Henry Ford Health Systems as a lab tech.
He is curretnly married to Becki and they live in Brownstown.
My daughter's name is Sarah. She is 24 years old and is currently working
for the Taylor School District as a teaching assistant in the Special
Education Department.
We have two dogs named Ally amd Jack. In my down times I love to
camp, read, work on scrapbooking and making cards. My family is very
important to me. My family is spread out in the state of Texas, so spending
time with them is precious to me.
I believe that every child has the potential to learn. It is my goal to
make sure that your child feels successful. Children learn in many
different styles and all learning styles will be addressed and focused on
in our classroom.
If extra help is needed, I will make sure that I find someone to help out
when necessary. I will not stand back and let any of my students feel
unsuccessful.
