I am a graduate from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Special Education.
This year I will be teaching 5th Grade. I can't believe how much I missed
teaching older children.
I have been married for 26 years and have two grown children both in
college. My husband's name is Joe and he is a Captain for the
Frenchtown Fire Department in Monroe County. He works very hard at his
job.
My son's name is Robert. He is 25 years old and going to Nursing
School and working full time at Wyandotte Hospital as a lab tech. My
daughter's name is Sarah. She is 22 years old and is currently working for
the Taylor School District as a teaching assistant in the Special Education
Department.
We have two dogs at home named Ally and Jake. In my down times I love to
camp, read, work on scrapbooking and making cards. My family is very
important to me. My family is spread out in the state of Texas, so spending
time with them is precious to me.
I believe that every child has the potential to learn. It is my goal to
make sure that your child feels successful. Children learn in many
different styles and all learning styles will be addressed and focused on
in our classroom.
