Can my child bring in a treat to celebrate his/her birthday?

Yes!! We love to celebrate with our friends. Just jot a quick

before, so that I know to expect a birthday treat!

How can I help my child with 3rd grade material?

On days when there are no homework assignments, reading with your
child is the most important activity you can do. Homework in 3rd
grade consists of Everyday math concepts that we have already
worked on in class. Answers will be sent home with your child so
you can use them to check the homework. Homework will be Monday-
Friday.

How can I help my 3rd grader at home?

The best thing to do is check their assignment books and back
pack daily. In the backpack you will find assignments to go over
with your child as well as important notes and assignments that
can be done at home. Make sure to ask your child every day what
they did in school. Go over the math homework with them and read
every day. Reading is so important!!!
