I was a graduate of Woodhaven High School in 1992. I then
attended Buffalo State College and earned a Bachelor's Degree in
Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. I also have a
Master's degree in reading from Eastern Michigan University. I just finished
my 2nd Master's Degree in Administration in December of 2010. Currently,
this is my 14th year teaching at Randall Elementary School.
I am currently living in Lincoln Park with my husband, John, guinea pig Dale
(after Dale Earnhardt Jr.) and dog, Oscar. I collect Wizard of Oz
memorabilia (especially the Wicked Witch of the West)! I love
watching football (especially the Buffalo Bills) and NASCAR (Tony Stewart).
I have one stepson (Andrew). He will be 15 this year! He is the most amazing
son I could ask for. I spend my free time reading all sorts of books and
listening to country music. I am thrilled to
be your child's teacher and look forward to an amazing year.
All students have the right to learn. It is my mission to ensure that your
child feels successful. All learning styles will be addressed and
focused on in our third grade classroom. I feel very strongly
that it is my job and it is also my passion to find the style of learning
that works the best for your child. Please make sure that if you have any
questions or concerns, that you bring them to my attention as soon as
possible. I will take care of them immediately.
