The most important homework you can do with your child is read to them
daily.
Please review the sound sticks, flashcards and "Looking At Print" books.
Every Monday a poem will be coming home for your to read and do the
activities with your child. Return it to school with a signature and a sticker
will be placed on it and returned to you for review with your child throughout
the year.
Your child will be bringing their "Looking At Print" book home on Thursdays
please review it, sign and return the book. We will again put a sticker on it
and return it to you to keep it in the same special box with their sound
sticks so they can review frequently.
Throughout the school the "Home Links Math" (green) book will be sent home
with several pages to do over a weeks time. Please complete and return. This
book reviews what we have covered in our class lessons.
Starting in November we will be sending home a weekly review sheet. Please
have your child do it and return it.
