About The Teacher
I am a proud graduate from the Taylor School District. I then graduated from Wayne State University in May 2003 and have been working for the Taylor School District ever since. I have been a 5th and 6th grade teacher at Myers Elementary, a kindergarten teacher at Holland, and now have the wonderful pleasure of working in the 5th grade here at Randall. I have masters work in mathematics from U of M Dearborn and am currently seeking my master's degree from Madonna University for a reading specialist certification. I live in Allen Park with my husband, 2 step-daughters, 1 son and our golden retriever.

I believe all children are unique and each deserve an equal opportunity to learn to the best of their abilities. Each individual that enters my classroom deserves and will receive respect. As a class we will spend more time together in a day than we do with our own families which means that we are a second family to each other and should be kind to each other because of this. I will expect each student to do their personal best and will hold them to the highest standards at all times. I will do my best to ensure that they can all do their best.
