I grew up in rural Minnesota on a dairy farm near Atwater. I received my
teaching degree from the University of Minnesota-Morris in
1999.
My first teaching positions were in Kaukauna, Wisconsin where I taught first,
second, and third grade at different times over the course of six years. My
husband and I then moved to Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. I taught in Beaver Dam
for four years at the forth and fifth grade levels. Then we decided I would
stay at home with our children and run an in-home day care. A year later I
accepted a call to teach preschool part-time at Eastside Lutheran in Madison,
WI for a year. I then taught preschool at Peace Lutheran in Sun Prairie for
about six years. So adding it all up, I have been privileged to teach at
various levels for 17 years and lived in Wisconsin for twenty years before
returning to Minnesota.
I look forward to my second year on the BLLH team, and I am excited to serve
the second graders and their families!
PRAYER CHANGES THINGS - Philippians 4:4-6 Rejoice in the Lord always. I
will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord
is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer
and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
