DIANE TEETER
Mrs. Teeter graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato with a degree
in Physical Edcuation and Health. She also received her Developmental
Adaptive Physical Education degree from Mankato as well as coaching.
Mrs. Teeter has coached volleyball and basketball here at Cannon Falls and
Ms. Bremer was a member of the first basketball team she coached.
Mrs. Teeter is an avid tennis player and also enjoys boating, biking,
watching sports and relaxing in her pool.
Mrs. Teeter and her husband Marlyn live in Hastings. They have two sons,
Michael who is in law school at St. Thomas, and Jeremy who is a senior at MSU
majoring in construction management. Mrs. Teeter also has a dog named Cuddles.
SUE BREMER
Ms. Bremer graduated from high school here in Cannon Falls and
graduated from St. Cloud State University. Ms. Bremer received Developmental
Adaptive Physical Education Certification from Minnesota State University at
Mankato. Ms. Bremer is an LPGA golf instructor and coached the varsity
Cannon Falls Bomber golf team for many years. Currently she is coaching the
Junior High Golf team.
Ms. Bremer enjoys playing and watching all sports, especially golf, reading,
fishing and spending time up north at her cabin.
Ms. Bremer lives in Minneapolis and has a dog named AJ, and two cats, one
named Tigger and the other named Divot.
ROSS PETERSON
Mr. Peterson graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN with
majors in Physical Education, Health, and Social Studies.
He went on to receive a Masters degree in Athletic Administration from
Mankato State University.
Mr. Peterson's favorite sport is basketball. He has coached boy's and girl's
basketball at both the college and high school levels.
He has just accepted a position with "Wear Out the Net" up in Lakeville. This
is a basketball instructional facility specializing in both team and
individual skill development. Currently the staff is going out to area
schools, with the new facility opening up in December.
Mr. Peterson lives here in Cannon Falls with his wife Myna and his two sons,
Isaac and Brock.
The mission of the Cannon Falls Elementary Physical Education Program is to
prepare the students to enter into a lifelong understanding and appreciation
of physical, social, emotional and cognitive components needed to enjoy a
physically active and healthy lifestyle.
Our Goal for the students is to learn how to be physically fit, stay
physically fit and enjoy life.
PROGRAM GOALS
1. To develop fundamental movement skills.
2. To understand and develop a physically active lifestyle.
3. To encourage a positive attitude towards physical activity, self, and
others.
4. To demonstrate an understanding of rules, vocabulary and stategy for
active participation in a variety of activities.
5. To demonstrate a sense of good sportsmanship and safety.
6. To understand that physical activity provides opportunities for enjoyment,
challenge, self-expresssion and social interaction.
