Welcome to Kindergarten!!
One of the most important things you can do with your child daily is to read
books to them! 20-25 minutes a day would be great! It is also good to
discuss the book after you've read it!
Another great thing to do at home is to have them practice writing their
name the "kindergarten way". That is by using a capital letter at the
beginning and lowercase letters for the rest of their name.
We will also start to practice recognizing letters in our name. Reviewing
these letters at home would also be beneficial!
