Are you married or have kids?
Sadly, no, I am not married, I am still waiting for Justin
Timberlake to ask!!! :) I don't have any kids of my OWN but I do
have 23 lovely, sweet students everyday!
Family members?
My family is from Alexandria, MN but now we are spread all over!
I have two sisters; an older one, Mary, who works as a television
sports reporter, her husband Steve,and my nephew Sam live in
Lexington, KY, and my younger sister, JoAnn, works and lives in
Panama City, FL. My parents live in Alexandria in the summer and
winter in Homosassa, FL.
What do you do for fun?
Well right now Barnabee takes up all my free time!! When I am not
dog training, I love movies, hanging out with my friends,
traveling, music and shopping at Target! I also bought my first
house in October of 2008 so I am always busy with new home
projects.
How many students are in our class?
We have 23 students...24 if you want to count me in as well!
What time do we have lunch?
Our recess and lunch time is from 11:35-12:05. Feel free to have
lunch with us anytime!
How long have you been teaching?
I am starting my 6th year of teaching...it has flown by! This
will be my fourth year teaching 1st grade and I have taught 2nd
grade for two years. I am currently halfway done with getting my
Master's at Concordia University in St. Paul. I have grad school
immediately after class on Tuesdays so Wednesday mornings are
hard for me!! I also have a reading specialist license K-12. I
am currently licensed to teach in North Carolina, Arizona and
Minnesota (I am not trying to get licensed in EVERY state but I
have traveled a lot! :).
