Hello Everyone!!!
Let me just tell you a little bit about myself. I originally grew up in
Alexandria, MN. After graduation I made a huge change and went to college at
Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. After 4 1/2 wonderful
years there, I wanted yet again to try somthing new! So I moved to Arizona,
lived in Phoenix and got my first teaching job ever as a first grade
teacher. It was a culture shock and a learning experience I will never
forget! I taught first grade there for three years. I loved every moment but
felt the itch to move again. In the summer of 2007 I got a job at Carver
Elementary back in Minnesota. I taught second grade for the past 2 years and
I am super excited to go back down to teach first grade...I may be a little
rusty! :)
This summer I got my first puppy ever!! He is a mini goldendoodle (half
golden retriever and half mini poodle) and his name is Barnabee. The class
will hear lots of crazy stories about him as I adjust to life with a dog!
