Can I still be in choir if I am a patrol?

There are many choir students who are patrols.  They leave the choir 
rehearsal around 8:45 when they are on duty, and this is okay with me.  
However, I ask that they get substitutes for the two rehearsals before a 
performance so they can attend the entire rehearsal.

Can I eat breakfast at school if I'm in choir?

Many choir students eat breakfast at school.  These students will be 
dismissed from choir at 9:00 a.m., giving them 15 minutes to eat breakfast.

Will I need any special clothing or uniform for choir performances?

Yes, we will be wearing a uniform.  The uniform is a red Centennial 
Elementary Choir shirt, black pants or skirts and black shoes.  This year we 
will be ordering red polo shirts with an embroidered logo specifically 
designed for the choir.  You may order them later this fall and will cost 
$10 - $12.  Contact Mrs. Madison if this purchase presents a hardship for 
your family.

What if my parents can�t bring me to school early for choir?

School policy does not permit me to arrange carpools. However, in order to 
make it easier to find a ride to rehearsals I am asking for parent 
volunteers who are interested in driving an extra student or two to choir 
rehearsals in the morning.  If you are interested in volunteering for this 
important job, or if your child needs a ride please indicate this on the 
permission slip.  I will send the volunteer drivers� names home with 
students who need a ride and you can contact one of them to ask if they will 
pick up your student on Tuesday mornings
