Mystery FestivalObjective: Students will gain knowledge about how forensics is used to solve crimes.
Vocabulary: See vocabulary link below. Vocabulary words need to be written into "vocabulary squares" for each word. For a copy of a vocabulary square, please go to the vocabulary square page from my home page. Assignments: Students will explore a crime scene, collect evidence, do forensic tests, and draw conclusions.
Each student will keep a detective journal and data from the forensic labs. I will e-mail home updates periodically during the unit through Cougar Communications and my newsflash.
Evaluation: All labs, journals, and activities are graded. There is a test at the end of the unit; See review link below.
