The Bond Referendum passed with 196 yes and 31 no for an 86% passing percentage.

Residents of ISD #768:
I would like to thank you for voting to renew our current levy referendum. I understand that for many residents this may have been a difficult decision due to the economic situation in our country, but your overwhelming support of this levy will allow us to continue to provide the quality of education that our students deserve and our community has come to expect. “Strong schools build strong communities and strong communities support strong schools.” Hancock Public School is here to stay! Rest assured that we will continue to be fiscally responsible while providing the educational resources necessary for our students to be successful now and in the future. As I have said many times before, “Thanks to a committed staff, great student body, and supportive community, Hancock Public School is one of the best schools in the area. THANKS for ALL that you do to support Hancock Public School!

Hancock Elementary School is named a “Reward School”
On August 30th the District was informed by the Minnesota Department of Education that Hancock Elementary School was named a “Reward” School. Being named a “Reward” School is the highest designation that the State of MN can award to a school based on the new Multiple Measurements Ratings. This designation is reserved for the top 15% of Title I schools in the State of Minnesota. HES received 69.04 points out of 75 total points (92.05%). Hancock High School (Not a Title I School) received 71.86 points out of 75 total points (95.82%). This is outstanding. This reaffirms what we’ve known for a long time, that Hancock Public School is one of the best schools in the area thanks to a committed staff, great student body, and supportive community. THANKS for ALL that you do to support Hancock Public School!
