Ms. Dettmer has been teaching for 25 years. She has taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
and 5th grades. She has also served as the Rice Lake Elementary Technology
Coordinator for many years.
Ms. Dettmer earned her B.S. and MEd. from the University of Minnesota Twin
Cities Campus.
She is married to Paul, a science teacher, and has 2 children named Solveig
(12) and Dane (8).
During her free time she likes to read, knit, bike, travel,learn new
things on the computer and play with her children.
She also works for the North Suburban Summer Academy for High Potential
Students during the summer.
