I have been teaching elementary students for 31 years. I am happy being with
children and am honored that they have invited me into their world. It is a
wonderful world full of surprises each and every day. I think that they
teach me much more than I could ever teach them. I love to read poetry,
exercise, and try my hand at writing. My heart lies in two places, Minnesota
and Pennsylvania. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania which holds my seven
siblings. 3M company brought us to
Minnesota in 1984. What a wonderful place this is with all of its
sophistication and wilderness! I am truly blessed! I have two of my own
children, two new grandchildren, and twenty three of your wonderful children
to share my life with
this year. It is my hope that we can work together and focus on the children
and their needs.
My mission for the class this year is to help the students reach their full
potential as learners. I want to provide them with activities that match
their learning styles so they are challenged and engaged in the learning
process. It is my hope that they become independent learners and that they
develop a respect for their fellow classmates.
