7th Grade Geography


The 7th Grade class will focus on World Geography in the following ways:

1.   Describe the five elements of geography.

2.   Be able to describe how interdependence among the people of the world leads to problems, solutions, and an ever changing world.

3.      Be able to identify locations and places on the  

          map concerning the world’s countries, cities,

          physical landmarks, waterways, etc.

8th Grade American History

The 8th Grade class will focus on American history in the following ways:

 

1.            Students will investigate social, economic, political structures of the United 

               States.

2.            Students will examine various revolutions (social, scientific, cultural, and

               political) and the changes caused by them in the US and the world.

3.            Students will understand how events have changed modern day history.

                    Specifically, we look at how events in the Post World War period still affect the  

                     U.S. today, such as in the Middle East.
