Welcome to 3rd Grade Language Arts!
With the Houghton Mifflin curriculum and other supplemental resources we will use a variety of stories to work on comprehension strategies, vocabulary development, and fluency. We will also work on grammar skills during this time.
This Week's Story: Instead of a story this week we will be identifying problems and solutions in comic strips. Students will then create their own!
This Week's Skills: Drawing Conclusions, following directions, VCV pattern, spelling words beginning with a or be, antonyms, comparing with adjectives
