Homework 7th

4-11-12 Wednesday- Chapter 1, "apprehensive" assignment.  Students were to find the definition of apprehensive using the dictionary (the one that fits best in context with the story).  I asked for three synonyms for apprehensive, and three antonyms.  Then I asked for a paragraph about a time that the student was apprehensive.

4-12-12 Thursday- Partner reading of chapters 2 and 3.  Students were to come up with three discussion points for each chapter, so six total.   

4-16-12 Monday-  Groups and Before, During, After cards.

4-17-12 Tuesday-  Testing.

4-18-12 Wednesday4-  Testing.

4-19-12 Thursday-  Game day.

4-23-12 Monday- Partner reading chapters 4 and 5.  Students needed to write down any potential vocabulary words (words that were unfamiliar).  Topics for tomorrow's Round Tables discussion were to be written down as well.

4-24-12 Tuesday- Vocabulary assignment and discussion.

4-25-12 Wednesday- Chapters 6 and 7.  Students worked in partners and wrote their own quiz.  For each chapter students were to write a true and false question, multiple choice question, fill in the blank question, short answer question, and a long answer (requires a paragraph) question.

4-26-12 Thursday-  Finish creating the quiz, exchange quizzes, and take a quiz!!!  Four characteristics assignment was also given.  Chapter 8.

4-30-12 Monday-  Chapters 9 and 10.  Students were to give me a paragraph on a time they lied.  Students also had to give me a paragraph telling me about their favorite memory.

5-1-12 Tuesday-  Students were to write a paragraph on a memory that they would give/share with someone.  Another paragraph was assigned on a memory that they would NOT give/share with someone.  A sketch for each paragraph was needed as well.  Students transfered those memories to their group Receiver.

5-2-12 Wednesday-  Chapters 11 and 12.  There will be a quiz tomorrow.

5-3-12 Thursday-  Quiz on chapters 11 and 12.  Students worked together to create a rap to tell me what has happened up to this point in the story.

5-7-12 Monday- Game day.

5-8-12 Tuesday- Raps!  Read chapters 13 and 14.  Students were to come up with discussion topics.

5-9-12 Wednesday- Class discussion on 13 and 14.  Students were responsible for reading chapter 15.

5-22-12 Tuesday-  Read Chapters 20, 21, and 22.  Quiz tomorrow.
