Class missions are tricky. I want every student to love
language as much as I do, be it writing, reading, drama, or speech. I have a
bias that way. Realistically that won't happen, nor should it.
My mission, therefore, is to aid students in understanding and navigating
the literate world in which they exist. This will be different for every
student since every student is unique. There is an underlying similarity,
though, and that is success. The ability to comprehend information and
communicate effectively is vital to success- in school, the job market, and
in life.
My mission is to help students be successful.
