The Art Expert
Your job is to research what Picasso's artwork looked like. You will be
creating your portrait in a similar style. It does not need to be identical to
his style. You will consider the following questions: What movement is
Picasso credited with? Did his artwork change over time? What were four of
Picasso's "periods"? What media did Picasso use?
You will then converse with your group members to discuss what type of media
should be used and what style of art you will be mimicking.
You will turn in: Answers to the above questions, and a printed image of an
artwork you feel embodies Picasso's style.
