Role for the Performance Artist
Here are few question to get you started thinking about performance art.
Please answer these questions thoughtfully using critical thinking.
1) What is performance art?
2) How do performance artist display their art? ( this question has more than
one answer)
3) List three performance artist that you found in your research.
4) Describe why these artist were interesting to you, by using descriptions
of their art.
Using these research questions as a guide, please develop three performance
artworks that you would be interested in creating. Then discuss with your
group all of your ideas and decide on one to elaborate on. You will then
need to plan your performance art peice either by a sketch or visual
display. You will then present your performance artwork to Ms. McCloud. Be
sure to include your artist statement.
