What is the best way to contact my child's teacher?
Email is the best way to get a hold of me. I am able to check my messages a couple of times a day and even on weekends. If you would like a response by phone please indicate that in your message. If you do call me you will get my voice mail. I am usually at school by 8:00am and stay until 5:00pm. I can return messages before school, during my plan period (3:00-4:00)or after school. Because of our many responsibilities I may not be able to return your call until the end of the school day.Back to Top

What can I do to help my child at home?
Read, read, read! Please read with your child often at home and encourage them to work on book reports. You can also work with your child to make sure they know how to tell time to the hour, half hour, quarter hour and five minute mark. They should also work on counting money up to one dollor. Addition and subtraction flash cards are also helpful for basic facts. Please read my weekly newsletter and the homework page on this web site for other ideas!Back to Top
