I have been with the Francis-Howell School District since 1983. I graduated with my Bachelor's
Degree in Elementary Education from Missouri State University in Springfield and received my
Master's Degree from Lindenwood University. When not at school, I enjoy movies and dinners with
my friends and family.
I constantly have one project or another going on at home. Sometimes it's crafty (quilting,
crochet, cross-stitch, sew, etc) other times it's home improvement. I have a 1940's bungalow and
am trying to return it to its original charm vs the previous owner's Brady Bunch era makeover! The
kitchen, my pride and joy, is close to being finished!
My favorite book of all time is Green, Eggs and Ham (Suess was a genius!) although I love books
by Steven King, Jeffrey Deaver, and John Grisham.
Although I have never been to a convention (and never plan on it), I am a huge fan of StarTrek and
collect memorabilia relevant to the show. I limit my collection to one small room of my house, and
to date, I've never spent more than $100 on any one item! (I'm not the type to memorize every sceen
of every show ever made, but I do prefer the original series over the other 4 that were conceived by
G. Roddenberry). I thoroughly enjoyed the recent movie! I believe Gene would have been pleased!
