Assignments

Assignments:  Always check your students Daily Agenda and ask them what they need to complete.  This will help prepare them for middle school.  I will try to keep this page updated with homework assignments so you can check and help your student achieve independence and responsibility.  I always suggest they write iupcoming assignments and tests in their agendas, but can't gaureentee they will do it.  i remind students repeatedly to write and to take home study materials.

Spelling tests are always on Fridays.  We do not allow students to take tests if they plan on being out on testing day.  They will not have that score averaged into grade.  they will be responsible for weekly spelling activities during Daily Five.  Spelling words are given to students on Monday and they are instructed to write them in their journals.  They are also updated on the spelling section of this website.

Also according to fifth grade policy your child is responsible for turning in late assignements and fro fixing returned grades that are below 70% for an averaged grade.

Daily Five:   Due on Fridays
Comprehension Packets, Daily Log, Thinkmarks, and Spelling activities are due Friday afternoon.  These are to be worked on during daily Five times and should only be worked on at home because of absences and failure to complete work by
