![]() Translation SitesBabelfish is a free online translation site. A large number of languages are available. Worldlingo is another good translation site. Omniglot is a great site that translates specific phrases into a variety of languages, such as "Thank you" into Mandarin Chinese, Polish, or Zulu. There are audio files for some of the translations so that you can hear the translations, as well as see them. Unfortunately, many of the translations do not have audio files at this time.
A word of caution with these translation sites: NO translation website is perfect. Please be aware that the technology may not be developed enough to choose the correct meaning for the word or phrase being translated. Just for fun, type an English phrase or word to be translated into another language. Go ahead and translate it, and then copy it over, and translate it back to English. Sometimes the word or phrase will translate back and forth perfectly. Other times, you may be surprised by the results.
