Welcome, to a new begining!!Although I bid a sad farewell to summer, a new school year is always exciting for all the possibilities it brings. I am looking forward to a great school year with my new group of 2011-2011 Sixth Graders! I am anticipating that we will have great success this year and I am excited about the things that will be new for me this year (I have a new rotation and I will be teaching Communication Arts)We will have open house on Monday, August 15th. I hope to meet many of my students and parents at that time. Please do not bring supplies to open house. I will be in meetings much of Tuesday and preparing the classroom for our first day of school. If you have any specific concerns regarding your student, please either write your concerns in a note to give to me during open house or for the first day of school, or send me an e-mail. I want to work with you in the best interest of your child, but details discussed during open house are occasionally forgotten. Attention all parents!! You will have homework on the first day of school! I will send home some very important papers that will need to be read, signed, and returned the second day of school or as soon as possible.
