Are there class parties in Sixth Grade?

Yes, there are class parties.  We will have three holiday parties just as the younger 
grades do.  This will be the last year for class parties, so I encourage you to 
participate in these memories!

I would GREATLY appreciate any and all help with the parties.  There will be a 
sign-up sheet that comes home the first day of school.  Even if you are unable to 
attend the parties, there are several things that you can do to help make sure each
party is a success.

May I send birthday treats for my child?

Yes.  At this time we have 27 students in our class and I am not aware of
any food allergies.

Can my child have a water bottle at school?

Although I believe that staying hydrated is a very healthy practice, water bottles
are often times quite distracting during class. I discourage water bottles except in
cases of illness when a doctor has recommended your child to have frequent drinks of water.
