I am excited to begin my 13th year here at Carl Junction Intermediate. I
have been in 4th grade for all but 2 of those years which I spent time in 5th
grade as well.
My husband Brian and I have been married for 23 yars and together we are
raising two wonderful sons. Our oldest son Alex, graduated from Carl
Junction High School and is attending Missouri State University in
Springfield this year. Evan,our youngest son, is currently a Senior at
CJHS. We also have the 2 wonderful boxers, Macy and Maggie, which enjoy
visiting our class from time to time.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. You may see me
spending some of my free time at the ball fields, as I am a sport fanatic! In
addition we enjoy four-wheeling in the mountains and spending time at the
beach.
I am very proud to be a part of the most wonderful school district and I
am looking forward to an awesome year together! Let's make 2012-2013 GREAT!!
I believe that with the help of hard-working, dedicated teachers, every
child can find personal academic success. For some that may mean more time
practicing basic facts, while others may be required to spend more time
practicing and developing their reading skills. However, I do believe that it
takes a dedicated team consisting of the child, parents, and teachers to make
this happen.
I will give each of my students 110% of my effort to work toward that
success. I want 4th grade to not only be a year of educational milestones,
but a year of character education and academic success as well. As well as
learning about many new educational concepts, we will also work on good study
habits, organizational skills, and the qualities that help students become
more responsible citizens. We work HARD, but we also like to have a lot of
fun!!
