About Me
This is my third year teaching at the Carl Junction Junior High. I
graduated from Missouri Southern in the Fall of 2001 and I am currently
writing my research paper for my Master's in Science Education from Northwest
Missouri State University, then I graduate!  I have been teaching with
science kits for ten years.  I am a trainer of the science kits for the
Southwest Center for Excellence in Education and have worked with DESE as a
Key leader for Building a Presence in Science and rewriting MAP science
questions.
I am a parent of two wonderful children.  My son, Drake, is 13
years old and will be entering 8th grade at Carl Junction.  My daughter,
Raven, is in the Honors Program at MSU in Springfield where she is a
junior. We have several pets including a parrot named Emmie, and
a dog named Hewey.  We also have three cats that were abandoned by their
mother last summer.

Mission
All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.               --Ralph Waldo Emerson

My mission is to create lifelong learners.  I want my students to leave my
class with a thirst for knowledge.  I hope to inspire my students to never
stop asking questions and trying to solve life's puzzles.
