How does a student qualify for gifted eduction?

Students must score at or above the 95% on 51% of an acceptable 
achievement
test. In addition the student must score at or above the 95% on a
state
approved individual IQ test. Students must also be scored on a
test of
creativity or have appropriate recommendations.

How often does the class meet?

Junior high students meet for an hour a day for an elective 
credit. Sixth grade meets for one hour a day and we compact reading curriculum
as well as participate in the gifted curriculum.

What is the curriculum?

There is an affective curriculum and the major unit of study 
varies with
student interest.
