 *Your first homework was to read through this page and then on the first day of school you will bring home the class syllabus and a safety contract that needs to be read and signed, then returned the following day.

Since your notebook is your textbook that you are putting together, I would like you to take the journal home everyday or every other day to review what you have. However, I reserve the right to assign homework to any individual or class that is falling behind due to lack of effort (and, on seldom occasion, simply because we do not get it done). You can expect little to no daily homework from me as long as you do your very best every single time you are in my room. You also must realize that giving little homework means that we keep a very demanding pace in my classroom, so come in each day ready to work!

Bring your science notebook and pencil to class everyday so you are not tardy!

Since there are no science books to take home, your notebook and notes/worksheets/entries in your journals are your study guides and books we build together throughout the year.

If you are checking your grades on-line:

IF assignment is not turned in, under student's first link on school website is the online gradebook and those whom are missing work are marked as NHI when those assignment grades are entered by the teacher. No score will show up listed with the assignment until the teacher has graded all of the papers for that class.
