Mrs. Divine's Science Class

Students will decide upon an experiement idea and then research bqackground knowledge and using the experimental steps, write out what they wish to do. That project proposal goes to be approved and once approved, the student follows those steps to complete an experiment. Once the experiment is done, they will make a presentation board to show their findings. And then....they will compete at the Missouri Southern Regional science fair. After competition, the club continues to meet once a month for some competitive fun design experiments.

After the Gulf spill, Science Club looked at how to clean oil from bird feathers and turtle shells and discussion on what was happening in the Gulf cleanup.
