This is obviously not a pic of me, but of my car. Can you tell me the
business it is sitting in front of? I am a 29 year veteran teacher from
Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have taught in Missouri since August of 1983 starting at
Carl Junction High School. I am married to a great guy that puts up with me
and fixes all of my cars. And, my two kids are grown and have moved out on
their own.
Studying the weather, fixing up old cars, and reading about or riding
horses are my passions at present. My riding companion is a beautiful
Missouri Foxtrotter named Sonny. My riding instructor says he acts just like
any junior high boy!
I want to know and do as much as I can involving all of these things. My
family is from this area historically and I want to find out about the
history of these people and how they lived in Southwest Missouri. I try to
educate myself daily and hope my students want to learn and explore the world
they live in as well.
I want every student to feel successful in my classroom while having that
feeling of accomplishment for a job well done.
