I love my SmartPhone and cannot imagine my life without it. What did I do to
entertain myself while waiting in line at Wal-mart? Or, how did I wait to get
home to look up an address of a place to eat? Now, my SmartPhone can be used
as a coupon carrier...SCORE!
This summer, I was bored and on my iPhone (big surprise :D)and stumbled
across some awesome educational applications (most of which are free)...which
led me to the thought of how of the kiddos could be entertained with
educational games while waiting in line or at restaurants either on his/her
parent's phone or the kiddo's iPod. Then, a lightbulb went off and I thought
about how to use within the classroom...and was soooo excited...and then was
deflated a bit by learning that the only format that will allow me to use my
digital projector so ALL the children could see is an iPad2. I'm still trying
to figure out how to swing that one...but, I like a challenge. :) Stay tuned
