I am looking forward to beginning my seventh year of teaching third
grade here at Carl Junction. (I previously taught grade school for several
years at another school district.) Carl Junction School District is my home.
I attended C.J. from elementary school on through graduation. My first
classroom in this district was actually the same room that had been my third
grade classroom as a child.
I look forward to getting to know each of your children this year as
they work to become independent, responsible, successful third graders. It
is already quite clear that we have a great class full of caring, sensitive
kiddos with wonderful, unique personalities. It will be a joy to witness
their enthusiasm for learning as each and every one of them strive to reach
his/her full potential.
My mission for teaching is to ensure that all of my students experience
success. This will happen in a safe, secure, and positive learning
environment. I will work to instill a love of learning in my students so
that they become more independent workers who will be prepared to meet the
challenges of 4th grade. I have high expectations for all of my children,
and I know that each of them can and will reach the goals we set for them
here at Carl Junction Primary 2/3. This will be a very rewarding school year!
