CHEETAHS Notebook
Dear Parents,
This is our CHEETAHS notebook – CHeck Everything Everyday to Achieve
High Success. I wanted to take a few minutes to introduce the components of
the notebook.
1. Money pouch – Please send all money in an envelope in this pouch.
2. Notebook explanation and classroom schedule.
3. District Calendar – This tells the Early Outs and days off. It is
also on the district website.
4. Classroom procedures – This page lets parents know about make-up
work, birthdays, etc.
5. Breakfast/Lunch Menu – Please check this daily so the kids know their
lunch choices. It makes for a much smoother morning check - in.
6. Classroom Snack Calendar – This should also be posted on the
classroom website.
7. Reading Log – Please log all books read to or by the student whether
they are books from home, library or guided reading. This is a VERY important
routine for learning. It is also a great time to cuddle with the kids.
8. Pocket insert – the front pocket is for school work, completed and
make-up. The back will be for notes. Please check this daily. Some notes are
time sensitive and may require a signature.
This is our classroom schedule to let you know about recess, lunch, and
specials. The times not listed are class times.

****Please make sure to always have this in the backpack. When it is checked,
please return it to the backpack. This notebook routine is instrumental in
keeping us all (teacher, parents, and students) organized.****
