What is the reading homework?

Reading groups will start at the end of September. I will post 
reading strategies and current practices on this page. Please 
take 
time to help your child apply these strategies will reading at 
home 
together.

Reading strategies

-Get our mouth ready to read the word.
Example dog our mouth is ready to make the "d" sound and "og" 
chunk.
-Ask Does it make sense?
-Does it the word look and sound right?
-Check the picture for help.
